I love Moroccan decor, so when I found this Dollar Tree DIY Moroccan lantern video tutorial by Jay Munee DIY, on YouTube, I had to make these gorgeous lanterns for my new apartment. These highly fashion-forward lanterns are really simple to make, and they look like they cost a fortune. I found all my materials at Dollar Tree, where the prices are always affordable. There is also an easy method that can be used to tint your jars if you are using clear ones. You will just need to mix paint and Mod Podge together and fully coat the inside of your jars, then bake them in a 200°F oven for 20 minutes and the jars will turn out like beautiful sea glass.

Materials For Dollar Tree Moroccan Lanterns:

  • 3 mason jar lamps (in various colors)
  • Henna patterns (you can download from the internet)
  • Gold metallic craft paint
  • Mod Podge
  • Turquoise craft paint

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
