DIY Wooden Ball Coffee Table Using IKEA Serving Bowls

Materials:

• 6 IKEA serving bowls
• industrial strength adhesive
• wood filler
• 4×4 piece of plywood
• pen/pencil
• wood saw

Directions:

TikTok user @lonefoxhome attaches each bowl in two with industrial-strength adhesive first to create three ball shapes, then let them dry for six hours. Next, he then adds some wood fillers to the area where the bowls meet, filling it generously, then he sets the ball shapes aside to dry and starts working on the tabletop.

Next, he draws a shape on a 4×4 plywood and then cuts the shape out. After this, he sands down the edges nicely. He also sanded the ball shapes once the wood fillers were nicely dry. Finally, he coats each ball shape with gel stain and the tabletop he made. (You can choose your preferred color of gel stain.) Once everything is set, he then attaches the ball shapes to the tabletop using the industrial-strength adhesive, then places it in his living room.
