Instructions:

Step 1:

Fill a pot with water and let it boil. Once boiling, put the wine corks for about 10 minutes to soften them up, so it will be easier to slice them in half. Once done, remove it from the pot and let it cool down a little bit.

Step 2:

Place your fingers on both sides of the wine cork and slice down the middle. It’s best to do this while the wine corks are still plump and wet.

Step 3:

Get the frame and put some yellow craft paint on the paper plate. Paint the base and the insides of the border using the paint and brush.

Step 4:

Dip the cloth into the yellow paint and paint the top of the wine corks. Do the same for the other colors but do not paint all of them. Once done with the wine cork, get 3 champagne corks and paint each one blue, pink, and yellow except for the bottom part of each one.

Step 5:

Get one pink champagne cork and put E6000 and hot glue on the bottom. Stick them on the upper right side of the frame. This will be the center of the pattern. Then put the unpainted corks around that pink champagne cork. Next, use the side of the cork stained with wine and then the yellow-painted ones. Do the same for 2 champagne corks. Use any colors you want for the pattern. You can experiment with different colors. Keep filling around each champagne cork with a wine cork. If there are some spaces left, cut the wine corks to fit them perfectly.
