How to Make A Rose Cross Wall Hanging

This DIY is so simple and so lovely, I can not think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than sitting outside on my porch craft table making a cross like this. Surprisingly simple, this vintage looking floral cross is made by using tissue paper to achieve the aged distressed look, and then some tea roses from your local craft store like Michaels or Joanns. The woman doing the video is a hoot, too! May May has an ingenious way of looking at things and she shows you not only how to make this awesome cross craft project, by her tip for making an expensive looking thick canvas on the cheap. Use what you have on hand! Love it. This is a quick and easy DIY, too, so if you want something that will be no fail but beautiful, it is a good pick. Perhaps grab some friends after church and get together to make these. I think you could totally sell these on Etsy, too, or at craft fairs. I am already wondering if there is not a cool way to distress and age the flowers. I bet there is some sort of spray you could add to this project, or really you could even spray paint your flowers silver or gold for a cool effect. Check out this Youtube video to get the step by step instructions for making this awesome cross DIY project. Let us know what you think, too!
