Fruit flies can easily multiply and linger around your home. You can often see them where there is ripe, rotting, fermented, or decayed produce. If you always have fresh fruits at home or if you compost organic waste, expect to see them in your house. They can breed in your drains, garbage disposal, or trash cans. Although they are not disease vectors, they can transfer bacteria. You surely don’t want them near your food.
