I must tell you that I am beyond excited that I found this DIY tutorial! It has saved my sanity in more ways than one. I went crazy on a daily basis, just trying to find something I needed! My purse was the black hole!

Some projects come out of necessity and this was one of them.  I recently purchased a new leather bag on vacation that I loved, but it had only one small zipper pocket on the inside.  I was forever groping around in the bag to find my glasses, keys, phone, lipstick, etc. and as a result, found this tutorial for this purse organizer that can be customized to fit just about any bag. I’ve saved so much time and frustration since I made one of these and I just love it!

If you’re like me, maybe you have a purse or two of the slouchy variety? You know, that bag that seemed so casual, and fun in the store — and then you get it home, start using it, and realize that it is a deep dark abyss of a pit, that seems to enjoy consuming keys and cell phones?

Do you ever hear your phone ringing while you’re out and about, and say to yourself, “Ah, what’s the point, I’ll never find it in time anyway.” … Me too. I think this little DIY purse organizer might be made for you.

This isn’t a beginners level sewing project, but if you have sewing experience it’s pretty easy.

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
