Are you looking for a weekend project? Why not make your pool lounging even better with this DIY pool noodle mesh sit float from Crafters Autonomous on Youtube? This DIY float is one of the best projects I’ve done this summer, and it’s actually pretty easy to make. You just need a mesh laundry bag, pool noodles, scissors, and snap buttons. It’s inexpensive compared to the ones being sold on the Internet. Try making this with your friends before summer is gone! Watch the video tutorial below to learn the step by step instructions.

Materials:

  • two pool noodles
  • mesh laundry bag
  • scissors
  • snap buttons

Directions:

Step 1

To start, cut one side of your laundry bag as well as the bottom. After this, pull out the drawstring and use it to hold your pool noodle into a curve shape.

Step 2

Line the pool noodle to the center, and cut out a shape roughly the same curve, leaving a lot of excesses. (Make sure that it will fit both of your pool noodles.) Once done, start placing the snap buttons along the edges. Your DIY pool noodle mesh seat float is now finished!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
