I sure would love to have a place to get away that’s located on a river or a lake.  This gal definitely has the right idea here!  Being on the water is such a peaceful place to get away from the hustle and craziness of the city and regroup!

I’m a big fan of the Tiny House series on HGTV and I tune in every Monday night to see all the incredible things they do to these small spaces.  I would have never thought of doing this with a pontoon boat!  I’ve seen people use school buses and campers.  I guess this is what you would literally call a “House Boat”.  With this tiny house you don’t have to worry about having a truck big enough to haul it!  At least for the time being anyway!

Whether it’s a tiny house or a tiny houseboat, when I see articles or videos regarding them, it always catches my eye.  I wanted to share this with you, in case you’re as fascinated about these as I am!  I keep thinking that I want to build a tiny house in the back of my daughter’s house so I can hang out there without running back and forth to my condo all the time.  She’s a single parent and needs my help more often than not!  More and more people are considering scaling down and simplifying their lives…it seems to be the big rage right now.
