It is super easy and fun to make. Plus, it is a great way to reuse plastic bottles instead of throwing them in the trash. It is also a great way to help the birds during the winter season since they have limited sources of food.

Birds feed on insects, berries, and seeds. During the cold months, their food source gets scarce and will only be available when spring comes. So, it is a great idea to feed them. Start by cutting the top and bottom parts of the 2-liter plastic bottle with a blade.
Make two markings on the middle of the plastic bottle about 2 inches apart, then form into a rectangle. Cut it out using a pair of sharp scissors.
Get the 5 liter plastic bottle and lay it flat on your work surface. Take the 2 liter plastic bottle and trace it on the center of the 5-liter bottle. Repeat on the back. Carefully cut the circles using a pair of scissors.
Insert the 2 liter bottle into the hole and check if it fits well. Make sure the opening is on the bottom.
Measure the stick. It should be longer than the 2 liter bottle in the center.
Tape the openings of the 2 liter bottle with tape.
Make a hole on the bottom of the 2 liter bottle on both sides, then in the center of the cap. You can hit the tip of a screwdriver and use it to make a hole. Once done, insert the stick in the 2 holes.
Insert a cord into the hole of the cap and tie it to make a hook.
Fill the bottle with bird food then tightly close the lid.
