I flipped over this clever tutorial because my phone always rings when I’m eating dinner or putting on my makeup so I put people on speaker phone, but sometimes I need to walk in the other room while they’re talking and have trouble hearing them! Although, they never know I’m in another room while they’re talking! LOL!

This wooden DIY amplifier makes me swoon. The maker, a representative from Arbortech, uses specialized wood sculpting tools, but I’m thinking that a grinder, an orbital  sander, and a detail sander just might work too. At least it would be worth a shot!

I’ve gotta make one of these for my hard of hearing Mother…she has a tendency to put me on speaker phone when she’s talking to me, but she’s always asking me to repeat myself. It gets pretty annoying! Now I know what I’m making her for Christmas!

I personally think smart phones should come with these, but since they don’t we now have a solution! You may be thinking that you don’t need one of these, but once you have one, you’ll wonder what you did before you made this cool DIY speaker. I was sold on it immediately!

Watch how this guy with Arbortech makes this in his step by step tutorial and then you can experience hearing people at a higher level!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
