Paper mache can be molded and manipulated to make just about anything! Learn to make this long beard Santa face, and you will be able to apply it to a Santa.

I’ve always loved the delicate rich look of paper mache items and this Santa is truly unique! It looks like you spent $100 on it! I’m not exaggerating on the cost to buy Paper Mache Santas and other items. Just look on Etsy at how much these are going for!

A few years ago a friend of mine made a tall skinny paper mache Santa for me and it’s one of my favorite Santa’s in my Santa collection.  I had no idea how she made the one she gave me and it looked like a very specialized and difficult project. Now that I have watched this tutorial, I realize that it’s not as difficult as it looks! It’s actually quite simple! I was so thrilled to run across these instructions and made one for my family to enjoy! It turned out fabulous! I have a feeling I’m gonna be making many more of these and will definitely be giving some of these away for Christmas gifts!

I know how excited I was to receive one of these as a gift, so I know my friends and family will love receiving one of these! Try making one of these…I think you’ll be really surprised at how easy they are to make!

I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
