To start, put the plates in a large ziplock bag and break them apart into smaller pieces using a small hammer. Next, spray some water on the bottom of the saucer, then start making your mosaic design with the broken pieces of plates. You can also add some glass beads if you like. Once you’re satisfied with the design, start gluing the pieces one by one with gorilla glue, then work on the sides of the saucer.
Next, mix the grout following the instructions on its box, then apply it to the project. Once done, let it sit for two hours, then apply two coats of silicone grout sealer. After 24 hours, seal everything with a clear protective coating.
