- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp shea butter
- 1 1/2 tsp bees wax
- 4 tsp of aloe vera gel
- 1-2 capsules of activated charcoal
I love this mascara. It keeps my lashes soft and doesn’t flake off. It stays on pretty well, but after a long day at work, I may need to touch it up if I’m going to go somewhere.
Homemade is always better, at least this is what the DIY lovers like me believe! And after I have started to make some of my beauty products at home (like powder foundation, blush, eyeliner) is time for a new basic make-up product: mascara.
I found this interesting homemade mascara recipe based on coconut oil, aloe vera gel, charcoal and bees wax that will help you separate, darken and moisturize your eyelashes.
I’ll just say this…if I were stranded on a deserted island and had one choice of what I wanted, it would be MASCARA! My eyelashes are blonde and I look so washed out without mascara, therefore, it’s a very important product to me!
