In a measuring cup, add one cup of warm water, two tablespoons of Dawn dish soap, and half a cup of 3% hydrogen peroxide. Mix until well combined.
Pour the solution into your carpet, slowly covering the entire area of the stain. The 3% hydrogen peroxide shouldn’t bleach your carpet, but if you are worried, you could test it out first.
Use the veggie brush to scrub the stain. The veggie brush is very soft and it is the perfect size for the job.
Get the towel and lay it flat on top of the brushed area on the carpet. Press it to absorb the solution. You will notice how dirty your towel will be once it absorbs the solution. One towel might not be enough, depending on the stain. If the stain is still there, just add more of the solution and scrub it again. Do it gently as you don’t want to damage your carpet. Make sure to clean it properly and get the moisture out as much as you can using the towels.
Once it looks clean, immediately throw your towels to the wash, then set up a fan tilted to the wet spot to help the carpet dry faster.
