Materials:

  • small plastic bottle
  • white cement + water
  • cutter
  • sandpaper
  • Mouldit clay
  • glue
  • acrylic paint

Directions:

Step 1

To start, remove the label, then cut the neck portion of the bottle. Next, mix some white cement and water until you reach a pasty consistency. After this, add a bit of cement inside the bottle and roll it until it covers the inner walls. Leave it for eight hours to set. Once done, add another three to four layers of cement inside. Once it fully sets, cut the bottle to remove it, then sand the cement.

Step 2

Next, take half of the Mouldit clay and elongate it thinly. Set aside. Add some vertical glue all around the vase, then attach the rolled clay. Once done, shape another portion of glue into cactus branches, then glue it on both sides of the vase. Let it dry. Once done, paint the cactus green, then define the clay by coloring it in a darker shade. Let the paint dry, then put the succulent inside. Display it anywhere in your home.
