Who says you need to spend a lot just to have those fancy bookshelves when you can DIY your own? This bookshelf from Bargain Bethany on Youtube looks so fancy that one can mistake it for high-end furniture, but it’s only made out of items found in Dollar Tree. Watch the video below to learn the step-by-step tutorial.

Materials:

  • rolling pins
  • cookie sheets
  • e6000 adhesive
  • hot glue
  • marble contact paper
  • rust-oleum flat white spray paint
  • scissors

Directions:

Step 1

Glue down the rolling pins (4 each) to the edges of the cookie sheet using the e6000 adhesive, then glue another cookie sheet on top of the rolling pins. Use a glue gun to make the rolling pins stay in place as e6000 takes time to dry. Do this process until you have your desired number of shelves.

Step 2

After you glued down all the rolling pins and cookie sheets, wait for the adhesive to completely dry. After it dried completely, take the shelf outside and spray paint it. To decorate it more, you can add marble contact paper or any design of contact paper you want. To do this, cut down the contact paper to be placed on the cookie sheet, then stick it on the surface of the cookie sheet.

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
