Draw a 5.5 inches wide rectangular strip and 2 pieces of 8.7 inches diameter circle on the cardboard. Once done, cut them using scissors or a razor blade. Roll the rectangular strip to make the curves.
Add hot glue to the bottom edge of the rectangular strip then attach it around the edges of the round cardboard. Cut the rectangular strip if it’s too long then glue the ends together. Let it dry completely.
Get your pencil, ruler, and cardboard. Measure 5.5 inches from one end then make a straight line from that point. Using the width of the ruler make 5.5 inches rectangular strips. Cut them using a blade.
Make 1.6 inches by 5.5 inches rectangles on the old denim. Then wrap around the rectangular cardboard strips using hot glue. Make enough of these to cover the whole outside of the round cardboard. Glue them using hot glue.
Wrap the fabric around the cardboard then attach the two ends using hot glue. Make sure it has a big allowance. Remove from the outside of the cardboard and place on the inside and fold some of the excess outward on the denim part. Glue to the bottom of the cardboard. Wrap the other round cardboard with the same fabric. Place inside of the cardboard.
Trace the basket on cardboard and cut. Wrap it around with denim then glue it on the bottom. Wrap the lace around it then do the same on the end of the fabric lining.
