This is a fabulous thing to have in your backyard! You will definitely spend more time outside when you have one of these. It’s a great place to go and relax…have a nice cold drink. I never dreamed this would be so easy to build. We made ours in no time at all!
If you don’t have many shade trees you’re gonna want one of these fabulous pergolas in your backyard! Since we built ours we spend a lot more time outside. Our trees are farther out in our yard so we wanted to build one of these closer to our house. Now we can run to the kitchen and get our drinks when we run out or when we’re grilling out we can get the food quicker.
This has definitely helped with the summer heat. Our new pergola provides enough shade to cool us off so we can enjoy the outdoors. Now we can sit out and watch the kids jump on the trampoline. It makes them happy to have us out their watching them…you know how kids are!
I saw one of these when I was browsing the Internet and got the brilliant idea to make one. My husband thought it was a great idea and he loves building things so it was a go! It didn’t cost us much to make and was so easy to build. I planted some ivy by the poles and it’s already grown up to the top! Once it starts covering the slats it will really be shaded!
