Knowing every ingredient that touches your baby is very important to many parents today and store-bought baby wipes can contain some ingredients you didn’t bargain for. Also as we have seen in the last few weeks your local stores may be out of any things that used to be readily available, but these times of hardship have taught us some valuable lessons and that is to e self-reliant. The thing about self-reliance is that in many cases we realize that under the guise of convenience you may very well be exposing yourself to many potentially harmful chemicals that you did not know about, especially because many of our personal care products have been manufactured in other countries and are not adequately or honestly labeled. The thing that I have really learned throw all of these shortages is to think about what is actually in these products we purchase and to realize that maybe I could do better because I’m pretty particular when it comes to what personal care ingredients I use. The method of making baby wipes for this particular recipe is really basic and involves ingredients you probably already have in your bathroom.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Paper Towel Roll
  • A 64 Ounce Container (with a snugly fitting lid)
  • 1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil
  • 1 Squirt Of Baby Shampoo
  • 1 Squirt Of Baby Oil
  • 2 Cups Distilled Water
  • A Mixing Bowl
  • A Measuring Cup

Directions:

First, you cut your paper towel roll in half then set it inside your container (the Glad Brand containers work really well here). Then warm your distilled water in a pot or in the microwave for a short amount of time (warm not hot) then, mix your distilled water, baby shampoo, baby oil, and coconut oil together in the bowl and pour over the paper towels in the container.
