I don’t know about you, but I’m always needing a baby gift and I ran across this easy tutorial! I made up a bunch of these so I will always have a gift! It’s so nice to have things made up a head of time so I don’t have to worry about making time to do this.
This is the easiest baby blanket ever, but it’s always something that a new Mom needs. Baby’s spit up a lot, so you tend to go through a lot of these. I usually give 4-5 of these as a gift so they’ll have plenty.
She doesn’t use flannel in this tutorial, she uses a fabric called Minky, which we are now seeing a lot of in the baby departments and stores. It’s so soft…actually softer than flannel and it’s prettier than flannel too. She uses a cotton fabric on one side and Minky on the other side.
If you love the single layered receiving blankets that they have at the hospital, you’re certainly gonna love this little blanket. It’s made out of Minky fabric and it’s so soft, you’ll never want to use flannel again! These can be whipped out in minutes, since it’s gotta be the easiest baby blanket to make!
With the weather warming up the Minky fabric and cotton is the perfect weight to create a snugly little cocoon for your little one and they are less bulky than a lot of blankets.
Watch how she makes this darling blanket in her step by step tutorial. These are the greatest!
