Trust me, it’s best to do it right away than let them pile up. Some only require 10 seconds, and it’s done; no need to worry about it the following day. Practicing these habits everyday will be life-changing, plus it will help you not get overwhelmed with all the things you need to do in just a day. Check out these tips and trick to keep your home clean and tidy.

1 – Check on your produce daily

For herbs, place them in a glass filled with water to keep them fresh for a longer period. Line the drawers on your refrigerator with a towel or newspaper to absorb moisture.

2 – Have a mini bin nearby when chopping

Take a bin nearby to throw away any of the food scraps.

3 – Use a splatter screen when frying food

This will keep the grease splattering while allowing the steam to escape. You can easily clean it with soap and water or place it in the dishwasher.

4 – Put paper in its place right away

When you don’t deal with incoming paper right away, it begins to pile up and clutter your home. When you bring a package or shopping bag into your home, open it right away. Same goes with mail, immediately decide what needs to be tossed or recycled and scroll over important information beforehand.

When you buy something, take a photo of the receipt so you can toss it.

5 – Add pulley wheels to clean behind heavy items

Adding sticky pulley wheels will make your appliances easier to slide, so you can clean the surface below them without having to lift them up.

6 – Fold plastic bags into triangles

Flatten the bag onto a table, fold in half twice, then fold diagonally back and forth starting from the bottom. For the handles, fold diagonally again, then tuck into the fold.

7 – Stick, gather, and toss

Make it a habit to gather your hair, then stick it to the wall to avoid it from blocking your drain. Once you are out of the shower and towel dried, collect the hair with a toilet paper and throw it away right away.

8 – Put away towels with care

Fold your towels into thirds, then slide it over the back side of the rack with the front side hanging a little longer.

9 – Quickly wipe spills around the sink

Quickly wipe water or product splatters using a cloth. Make it a habit to clean them right away because once they harden it will be harder to clean later on.

10 – Tip off any excess product

Not only does it look messy, but it wastes product and time trying to get rid of the excess. After you use a product, wash your hands first then put the product away.
