This Crockpot Sheperd’s Pie gives the family all the joys of comfort food without all the work, I just love it, so if you are looking for an easy, last-minute recipe for all the ground beef lovers in your family, I cannot recommend this Crockpot Sheperd’s Pie Recipe enough. The preparation is very quick and easy and you only need a few ingredients for these delicious Crockpot Sheperd’s Pie, you basically just make the insides of the Sheperd’s Pie in the crockpot, then cook your potatoes and mash them and serve on top of your Sheperd’s Pie and presto, a delicious meal without all the fuss! To get started you just need a crockpot, Frozen Vegetables, some ground beef, some carrots, and some peas, I like to use grass fed beef because it tastes better and it’s way better for you.  You can make this in a crockpot or Instant Pot, whichever you prefer. I started this recipe by gathering my ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup carrots (chopped)
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 cup stewed tomatoes (drained)
  • 1 cup of beef gravy (you can mix a packet with water)
  • Chopped Parsley (for garnish/ optional)
  • 2 to 3 cups mashed potatoes

Directions:

First, add your ground beef to a skillet and fry, then add onions, garlic, seasonings, Worcestershire Sauce, peas, tomatoes, and carrots.

Then cook and mash your potatoes and add to the crockpot and smooth down across the top like icing. Cook on high for 2 1/2 hours.

Then the last 30 minutes pour beef gravy over the top and cook for another 30 minutes. Sprinkle some chopped parsley on top before you serve.
