This recipe is a perfect and simple Fall snack to make in a crockpot. This recipe is a great way to incorporate a touch of Fireball cinnamon whisky flavor to candy. Bad Beast Barbecue tutorial on YouTube shows that this recipe only requires 7 ingredients, and I’m surprised that these worked in a crockpot. Plus, there are no complicated steps to make this, because most of the time it’s mixing and dumping the ingredients into the crockpot. I would love to try this recipe out because I’ve never had it mixed with Fireball whisky before. Also, I think it would add a nice flavor that would pair well with the pecans.
First, mix sugar, brown sugar, and cayenne pepper in a bowl and set aside. In another bowl, mix egg white, vanilla extract, and cinnamon whisky together. Continue to watch Bad Beast Barbecue tutorial on YouTube for full instructions and details.
Next, spray the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray. Then, add the pecans and pour the egg mixture and sugar mixture over the pecans. Make sure to coat them well. Cook on LOW for 1 1/2 to 2 hours stirring every 20 minutes.
Overall, this is an easy way to make candied pecans. Although it takes some stirring throughout the process of cooking, the recipe is easy to follow along with. I think the Fireball whisky would add a nice cinnamon smokey flavor to the pecans. I normally do not like pecans, but if it’s candied and sugar then I am a fan. You can make a big batch and store them in a dry container to snack on throughout the week.
