This crockpot chili mac recipe by Catherine’s Plates on YouTube is a dump and go meal that’s made in a crockpot. I love pasta and this is the time of year to pull out the crockpots to slow cook your meals. It’s simple, easy, and convenient to use a crockpot while letting everything cook on its own. Plus, it would be kept warm until dinner is served. This meal is cheesy and all of the chilis in this recipe make it a chili mac. There is a great combination of flavors in this crockpot chili mac recipe, but it can be modified to your own liking. I feel like this would be a great recipe for those that are picky because there’s not a lot of veggies or ingredients in this dish.
First, in a large skillet heated skillet, cook the chopped peppers and onions until softened. Add in the ground beef and cook until brown. Place the cooked ground beef, peppers, and onions into the crockpot. Then, add tomatoes, diced chilis, seasonings, and beef broth. Mix well.
Next, cover and cook on low for about 6 hours or on high for 4 hours. Remove the lid and add the dry uncooked pasta and submerge into the broth. Cook for an additional 30-40 minutes until the pasta is tender. Continue to watch Catherine’s Plates tutorial on YouTube for further instructions and details.
Overall, there’s a lot of flavors in this chili mac dish, so I want to try it. I love dump and go recipes because they are so easy when you have a busy day.
