Chicken fajitas are a simple and flexible dish that I love making almost every week for my family, and my go-to recipe is this one from Catherine’s Plates on YouTube. This dump and go crockpot dish is just perfect for busy weeknights and bigger families like mine. And did I mention you’ll only need five simple ingredients for this recipe? You might have them in your kitchen already.

Despite being simple, it’s one of the best chicken fajitas you’ll ever make. Check out the video below to learn the step by step instructions for this recipe. Thanks, Catherine’s Plates, for this fantastic crockpot recipe.
To start, cut your bell peppers into strips as well as the red and white onions. Once you’re done, go ahead and start assembling your ingredients in the crockpot.

Dump half of the salsa to the bottom of your crockpot, spreading it evenly. Next, lay the chicken on top of the salsa. After this, season the chicken with 1 tbsp taco seasoning, then lay all the bell peppers and onions over the top. Now, add the remaining salsa and one more tablespoon of taco seasoning.
Cover the crockpot with its lid, set it on high, and cook everything for two and a half to three hours or low for four to six hours. After cooking, pull the chicken out, shred them, then add them back to the crockpot. Mix everything well. Serve and enjoy!
