Wash and scrub the potatoes well, then peel off their skin, and place them in a pot filled with water. Place the pot on a stove over medium-high heat, then bring it to a boil for about 20 minutes until fork tender. Drain the potatoes off of excess water, then place them in a large mixing bowl, and mash before adding the salt and flour. Mix them all together until uniform and becomes a smooth dough, then cut the mozzarella cheese into small blocks. Next, scoop a small amount of potato dough, then gently form it into a ball but not too much or it will melt, and place a small block of cheese in the middle.

Step 2
Reshape the potato dough into a small ball, then place them in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to set. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the egg and milk, then add the flour, and continue mixing until uniform and well combined. Coat each potato ball in the egg mixture, then dredge in bread crumbs. Place a deep pan or pot on a stove over medium-high heat, then add some oil, it should be enough to deep fry the potato balls. Add the potato balls, then fry them for about 3 to 5 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Serve them with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
