Slice the sausages in half and make slits.
Add the butter in a small bowl, 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of finely chopped parsley, and 1 to 1/2 tablespoon of honey (if adding). Mix until well combined.
Get a slice of soft bread and press it with a rolling pin until it’s flat. Repeat with other slices.
Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side. After that, twist it with the butter side out, so the two corners overlap each other. Use a toothpick to keep it in place. Repeat with remaining bread slices.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the twisted bread slices.
Cover half a sausage with a slice of cheese. Remove the toothpicks and place the cheese and sausage on the bread. Wrap the bread again, and use the toothpick to poke the sausage and bread. Repeat with other slices. Spread the leftover garlic butter on the slices.
Add grated mozzarella cheese to the front and back of the sausage.
Place it inside a 356F preheated oven and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Transfer to a plate and remove all the toothpicks. Garnish with more chopped parsley and serve. Enjoy!
