When I found this creamy baked spaghetti video tutorial recipe by Laura In The Kitchen on YouTube, I was so excited. This recipe is the ultimate comfort food very much like lasagna, but the baked spaghetti casserole is way easier than lasagna. All you have to do to make this creamy delicious dish is to place normal spaghetti ingredients in a casserole dish with a creamy cheese sauce addition that really makes this dish rock.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce (you can use homemade or store-bought, all will work)
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • Some fresh basil (optional)
  • 1 pound of spaghetti (cooked in well-salted water)
  • 1 package of cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup parmesan (grated)
  • Plenty of freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (grated)

You start by making the meat sauce using either, homemade or store-bought marinara sauce. Then, you will cook your spaghetti noodles in well-salted water until they are a little underdone. Then, you will add the creamy sauce to the cooked spaghetti noodles. The creamy sauce consists of sour cream, cream cheese, grated fresh parmesan, and plenty of freshly ground black pepper.

Then, you will layer your noodles, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese in a casserole dish and cook at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Let the delicious casserole stand for about 10 minutes then serve.
