4 Ingredient M&M Cookie Bars Recipe

I’ve been snacking on M&Ms while I was reading and wondered if it would be nice to bake the rest into cookies. So, I went online and found this M&M cookie bar recipe by Sweet and Savory Meals Blog on YouTube and let me tell you, these might be among the best-kept secrets in dessert books! The cookies are incredibly easy to make, soft, and automatically loaded with M&Ms. In addition, this recipe only requires four ingredients and is ready in about 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
- 1 box vanilla cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 cups M&M’s
Directions:
Prepare all the needed ingredients.
Preheat the oven to 350F.

If you make the recipe in a 9×13-inch pan, the baking time will be reduced to 20 minutes, and the bars will be thinner.

In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 box of vanilla cake mix, 2 large eggs, and ½ cup of melted unsalted butter. Mix until well combined. Next, add 2 cups of M&Ms and the fond until well combined. Once the cookie bars are ready, set them aside to cool before cutting. Cooling the cookies will allow them to firm up a bit.
Lift the cookie bars from the pan using the parchment paper handles and cut them into bars.
