My point is, that if you add flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt, that is a cake mix. Hence, this scratch recipe is no more difficult than using a cake mix, but a lot more flavorful.

- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 3 cups apples (shredded)

- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter (cold)
