Note: You can use dark chocolate or white chocolate if you prefer. If you are using artificial rum flavor, use only a teaspoon.
Start by melting the milk chocolate. Cut it into pieces, place it in a microwave-safe bowl, and melt it in the microwave for 20 seconds. Stir with a metal spoon, then put it in for another 20 seconds. Repeat the process until melted.
Add 1 tablespoon of rum and mix. Set aside and let it cool.
Break the chocolate cookies into pieces and place them in a food processor. Crush into fine crumbs. Alternatively, you can place them in a resealable bag and crush them with a rolling pin. Transfer into a bowl.
Add the desiccated coconut to the crushed cookies. Stir to combine. Next, add the sweetened condensed milk and melted chocolate mixture. Mix until well combined.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, then add the chocolate sprinkles in a medium bowl. Take a teaspoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball with your wet hands. Roll it into the chocolate sprinkles to coat, then place on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
Place them in the fridge for 20 minutes. Once chilled, they are ready to serve. To store them, place them in an air-tight container.
