I really love toast ad it has been my go to food in a pinch my whole life and the odd thing is that I never get tired of it. I am always on the look out for a new toast recipe of any kind, so when I saw this recipe for chili cheese toast on Youtube, I could not believe my luck, it looked so delicious, it looked easy, and I knew it was going to be cheap, so I couldn’t wait to take this recipe on a trial run. There are also two ways of making this chili cheese toast, the first way is to cook this delicious toast in the oven on a cooking sheet with a little oil or parchment paper on the bottom (this way gets it super crispy) or you can cook it in a skillet with the lid on and this yields a softer result. The ingredients could not be more simple or easy to obtain.

Ingredients:

  • Mozzarella Cheese (grated)
  • Bread (sliced)
  • 1 to 2 Garlic Cloves (cut finely)
  • 1 Chili Pepper (sliced finely)
  • 3 Tbsp butter (softened)

Directions:

First, chop up your garlic and chili and add it to the softened butter and stir in until evenly mixed and creamy.

Then butter each side of your toast with the delicious custom butter mixture.

Then add the grated Mozzarella and place on a greased baking sheet or alternatively you can line it with parchment paper, then cook for about 5 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are crunchy.

Alternatively, you can cook in a skillet with a lid for 5 minutes (toast will be softer).

I highly recommend this recipe, its quick, easy, and absolutely scrumptious.
