We love repurposing and this is a super simple project. You are going to love the results and it will come in so handy too!  I’m sure by now you have plenty of questions swirling around in your head.

Who would have thought that you could turn those old jeans into a stylish denim bag like this one? So get your creative juices flowing and those jeans you don’t wear anymore and jump into this great DIY sewing project!

I was drawn to the great lines of this bag and the simplicity of it. I love the way it has a cut out handle…it’s a really unique and classy look. That’s why I had to make one right away. Pinterest fashion will have nothing on you after you create one of these adorable bags for yourself.

I couldn’t believe the compliments I got when I started carrying this bag. I guess it’s because it has a look that’s different than most denim bags. A great look too!

If you use a denim that’s not faded you can actually carry this with dressier clothes and not worry about changing your things into another purse. One thing’s for sure, you’re gonna love this bag! Perfect for summer outfits and winter, too, I love having a bag that will not easily get destroyed when I actually use it or accidentally set it on the floor. Washable is great, purse designers should take note of this! If you want a cute bag you can actually use, look no further than this fun idea. I made one for my daughter, too, and it is her music festival favorite.

I have included a step by step video tutorial that shows you how to make this chic denim bag. For an easy fashion idea, it does not get much better than this, especially because it is free to make!
