These chewy snickerdoodle cookies will instantly become your favorite treats! I was looking for an easy cookie recipe and stumbled across Delightful Bites‘ video recipe. Luckily, I had all the ingredients in my pantry, so I made them right away. They turned out way better than I expected. They’re probably the best snickerdoodle cookies I have ever tasted. The taste and texture is perfect.

To make these cookies, you will need butter, sugar, light brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, baking soda, lemon juice, salt, cinnamon, and flour. Yes, it does not contain cream of tartar, but it will still turn out chewy and delicious. Give this recipe a try.

For the cinnamon sugar:
In a large bowl, add 1 cup of softened butter and 1/2 cup of sugar. Whisk to combine.
Whisk in 3/4 cup of light brown sugar.
Add 2 eggs, 2 teaspoons of vanilla, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 3/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Whisk until well combined.
Add 2 3/4 cups of flour and mix with a spatula until just combined. Set aside.
In a different bowl, add 1/4 cup of sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon. Mix well.
Get a tablespoon of the cookie dough, form it into a ball, and then coat it with the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Repeat with the remaining cookie dough. Make sure to space them apart.
Bake at 375F for 10 minutes. Once done baking, remove from the oven and let them cool. Once cooled, serve and enjoy!
