Cheetos Apple Pie? That’s unheard of to me. This combination sounds a bit odd to me, but it’s pretty cool to see how outrageous and creative you can get with food. Sometimes some things may sound weird, but taste amazing. I don’t really like fruit filling pie, so I know this might not be for me. Although it sounds kind of gross, I wouldn’t mind trying it. The salty, sweet combination seems like it would go well together. Mythical Kitchen’s YouTube tutorials are always entertaining to watch. I love how engaging the Mythical Kitchen chef Josh takes us through his cooking process, which I believe is the reason why they get so many views. This Cheetos apple pie recipe seems easy to make with the detailed instructions. Overall, I think this pie looks cool and might be surprisingly tasty.
First, preheat your oven to 400 degrees. You’re going to want to make the Cheetos pie crust, so blend up some Cheetos and mix them with your flour, sugar, and melted butter.
Next, move onto the apple pie filling. I love how Mythical Kitchen uses Honeycrisp apples (my favorite type of apples). Slice the apples in chunks or whatever you like and sautee them over a pan of butter.
Once the filling is finished, make the streusel topping and sprinkle it on top. Bake the Cheetos apple pie for 25 minutes. Add whipped cream, then top with Cheetos dust and serve. I love how this recipe is simultaneously beautiful and disgusting, but it works!
