There are dozens and dozens of chicken wing recipes, but taco flavored wings? Overly underestimated. However, this uniquely bizarre recipe by All Wings Everything on YouTube is incredible. I took up the challenge, and believe me, when I say, he was right, I’d thank him later.

These wings are everything you love about chicken dishes: a crispy, flavorful crunch outside with a tender, moist center – plus a savory taco and cheese combination that will leave you in awe.

Ingredients:

  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 1 pack Taco Seasoning mix
  • 2 tablespoons feta cheese
  • 1/3 cup mix cheese blend
  • 2 leaves of lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons of powdered cheese
  • 1 packet of taco sauce

Directions:

Clean and prepare all the needed ingredients as listed above.

Preheat the oven to 450F.

Prepare the seasoning by combining 1 pack of taco seasoning mix with 2 tbsp of powdered cheese. Mix until everything is well combined.

Start to season the chicken wings by pouring and mixing in a tablespoon of olive oil. Then, sprinkle in the prepared powdered seasoning.  Mix well until the chicken wings are fully coated with the seasoning.

For added grease, line a pan with a rack over aluminum foil and spray with some cooking spray.

Transfer the chicken to the rack, skin facing down. Make sure that each chicken is an inch or 1 ½ inch apart from the other.

Sprinkle on some of the left-over seasonings for added flavor.

Place the chickens in the oven to bake for 50 minutes at 450°F. At midway, flip the chickens for an even crust. Lay 2 leaves of lettuce on a platter and add the chicken wings. Garnish lightly with chopped onions, feta cheese, and a cheese blend with pepper.

Lastly, smother the chicken wings with the deliciously oozing taco sauce.
