Cheesy chicken pot pie lasagna is an interesting combination of two dishes that don’t sound like they mesh together. However, the chicken, cheese, and veggies with savory cheese sauce that’s topped with pie crust are so interesting. Chicken pot pie is a great fall recipe and I love having this type of dish during the cold weather. I think this is a creative recipe that she combined pasta and bread together because it looks amazing. I love how Stove Top Kisses tutorials have recipes that are fast and simple. The ingredients needed are most likely premade or easy to throw in.

Ingredients:

  • 2 large chicken breast
  • 1 box oven-ready lasagna pasta
  • 1 box pie crust
  • To make the sauce:
  • 5 cups half n half ( you will need two 32 oz half n half )
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 5 tbs flour
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 1 bag frozen peas n carrots
  • 4 cups cheese of choice
  • plus 3 cups mozzarella cheese

Seasoning to taste:

  • chicken bouillon
  • salt
  • garlic powder
  • black pepper

Directions:

First, preheat the oven to 375F. Start off with the chicken breasts and use the seasonings on the list to season both sides of the meat. Throw them in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Then, in a pot, add onions, peas, and carrots to the salted butter. Coat the veggies with flour and stir. Add chicken stock plus half and half to the pot over medium-high heat until it comes to a boil.

In conclusion, this would be a cool recipe to make because I’ve never had something like this. I think it would be a great mix of the two dishes into one pan.
