This cauliflower pizza crust recipe by Food Wishes on YouTube is a perfect alternative for those that have a gluten allergy. Plus, it’s a low-carb option if you want to be able to eat more pizza without the extra bread calories. I love cauliflower crust personally, and it’s a guilt-free way to have pizza if you’re on a strict diet. However, I do love normal pizza, but it’s a great choice to have if you don’t want to feel a little hefty after eating 3 slices.

Ingredients:

  • 1 head cauliflower (about 3 packed cups ground)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 ounce finely grated Parmigiano-Reggiano (about a 1-1/2 inch square grated)
  • 2 ounces fresh goat cheese
  • cayenne to taste
  • 1 large egg

Directions:

First, prep the cauliflower by cutting out the core and breaking off the cauliflower florets. Throw them into the food processor, and process until they are finely ground. Dump the grounded cauliflower into a saute pan and add a splash of water. Turn the heat on medium-high heat and cook for about 5-6 minutes. Cook the cauliflower then squeeze as much liquid as much as possible. Continue to watch Food Wishes on YouTube for full instructions and details.
