Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup confectioner’s sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour (mixed with 1/4 tsp of salt)
  • 1 tbsp milk

Directions:

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Next, in a large bowl, put 1 cup or two sticks of room-temperature butter followed by 1 cup of confectioner’s sugar and 1 tsp of vanilla extract. Using a hand mixer, mix everything well until light and fluffy. Add 2 cups of all-purpose flour with 1/4 tsp of salt and continue to mix everything. When the texture started to become crumbly, add 1 tbsp of milk and keep mixing for about 15 seconds or so until the dough starts to look more cohesive.

Step 2

After mixing, take your dough and put it into a piping bag fitted with a large star tip. Pipe out small swirls of the dough onto a silicone mat-lined baking sheet. Repeat this until you finished all your cookie dough. Place the baking sheet into the preheated oven at 350 degrees F and bake for 15 minutes until the cookies are golden on the edges. After baking, let the cookies cool, then serve.
