This butter lemon garlic chicken and green beans recipe by Give A Girl A Spoon never fails to impress my family. It’s an easy recipe that’s flavorful and filling. Ingredients

  • 5 chicken thighs
  • 1 pound of green beans (washed and ends clipped)
  • 3 tablespoons of butter (divided)
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • juice of 1/2 lemon and lemon slices
  • 1/2 cup of chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon of hot sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon of crushed red chili pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup of fresh chopped parsley

For the rub:

  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • salt and black pepper

Instructions

Step 1:

Mix all the dry rub ingredients in a small bowl. Thoroughly season the thighs with the dry rub on all sides. Rub the seasonings well, then set it aside.

Step 2:

Place the green beans in a bowl and add a half cup of water. Place inside the microwave and let it steam for about 8 to 10 minutes.

Step 3:

Place a pan or skillet over medium to low heat. Melt two tablespoons of butter, then add the chicken thighs. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes for each side. Once done, remove from the pan, place on a plate, and set aside for later.

Step 4:

In the same pan, add parsley, 1 tablespoon of butter, minced garlic, hot sauce, and green beans. Mix and cook for a few minutes. Next, add chicken broth, lemon juice, and crushed red pepper. Toss and cook for a few seconds.

Step 5:

Move the green beans to the side and place the chicken back in the pan.

Step 6:

Once the chicken is hated, garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices. Serve and enjoy!
