I’m so crazy about anything that has a Bohemian flare and when I first saw boots like these, at Nordstrom, I wanted them so bad, but they had a hefty price tag so I had to tear myself away from them.

I got so excited when I ran across this tutorial showing how to make these! I was on board with doing this the minute I saw it! This was the perfect project for me because I had a whole slew of boots, belts, accessories and trims to do this project with.

Mr. Kate cuts her boots down the back and folds them over, but another option for doing these are half boots. l have a thing for boots so I ended up cutting a pair of old ones I didn’t wear anymore. Talk about turning out fabulous…they are amazing and I love them!

I couldn’t wait to go somewhere so I could show off my fancy boho boots and when I did I had quite a few people compliment me and ask me where I got them! Don’t you just love it when that happens?

The great thing about this DIY project is that you can go over the top with your accessories or, if you’re more conservative you can make them a little more toned down.
