Instructions
Prepare your freshly ripe pomegranates.
On one plate, carefully cut off the head of your pomegranate until the berries are visible.
As you see the berries in sections, slice the sectioning areas vertically.
In the center of the cut-off head, slice off the seed and place it on the other plate for future use. Great for gardening!
Now, with your bare hands, gently open the pomegranate in its sections.
With your spoon in your dominant hand and the other hand turning over the pomegranate all over the place, tap the bottom end of your pomegranate with the back part of your spoon to remove the berries. The berries will simply fall off like drops of rain. Tap until all the berries come off.
Lastly, enjoy every bite, make it into a shake, or make some pomegranate cookies. What makes pomegranates amazing is that the possibilities are literally endless. So maybe it’s time to get on with your healthy lifestyle and make them your daily staple after meals now that you know how to peel them!
