The problem with instant coffee is that it often doesn’t taste good. The flavors are not the same as the ones in our favorite coffee shop. But considering its price and how convenient it is to make, many people still prefer it over buying overpriced coffee.
Out of curiosity, I wondered if there’s a way to make instant coffee taste better. So, I did some research to look for ways to elevate the flavors of instant coffee and found this simple coffee recipe by Noah Stern.

I tried it at home using the same ingredients and procedure, and the results amazed me. It was definitely more flavorful and rich. You won’t even think it’s instant coffee if others made it for you. Adding a splash of vanilla extract and a pinch of salt boosted the flavors. Who knew a 1:1:1 ratio of sugar, milk, and instant coffee was the trick?

In a glass, add two tablespoons of instant coffee, two tablespoons of hot water, two tablespoons of sugar, a splash of vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Froth together until the mixture becomes fluffy.
Fill your glass with ice cubes, then top with your favorite milk. Mix it all together then enjoy.
