I am not going to lie – this recipe by Emma’s Goodies is the best homemade fluffy cinnamon rolls I have ever tasted. Everything was just perfect – the glazing, the filling, and the bread. Having this with a cup of coffee was heavenly!
For the filling:
Cream cheese glaze:

In the bowl of a stand mixer or bowl, add the sugar and flour and give it a quick mix.
In a different bowl or liquid measuring cup, combine the warm milk, egg, melted butter, and yeast. Set your mixer on low with the hook attachment, then gradually pour into the flour mixture. Once the dough starts to combine, put your mixer on high and mix for 2 minutes. The dough should be sticky.
Transfer to a greased bowl and cover it with plastic wrap. Let it sit until it doubles in size for 90 minutes or 2 hours.
Sprinkle flour on your work area and roll your dough into a rectangular shape. Spread the butter.
Mix all the filling in a bowl, then sprinkle over the butter. Take your rolling pin and press the sugar mixture onto the butter.
Roll the dough and cut the cinnamon rolls with a string. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover with cling wrap and allow them to rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake in a 350F preheated oven for around 20 to 22 minutes.
While it’s baking, mix all the ingredients for the glaze and transfer to a piping bag.
Once done baking, drizzle the glaze on top.
