I love Reuben sandwich and always have it every other day. While browsing Youtube the other day, I found this best Reuben sandwich from The Hillbilly Kitchen – Down Home Country Cooking. I got curious, so I tried it today, and boy, it’s the best I’ve ever had. I know my Reuben sandwich, and I’m telling you, you should try this recipe. I’m planning to make these for my friends this coming weekend, and I’m sure they will love it. So if you’re looking for a snack recipe, try this today! Watch the video below to learn the step by step instructions.

Ingredients:

  • corned beef
  • sauerkraut
  • rye bread
  • Swiss cheese
  • thousand island dressing (or spicy mustard)

Directions:

Step 1

Start by buttering your rye bread, then put them on the griddle to toast them. (Make sure to preheat your griddle so the bread won’t stick.) Once the bread is on the griddle, go ahead and add your sliced Swiss cheese on top, then add the thinly sliced corned beef on the side, roast it a little, and add it on top of the cheese. Next, melt some butter in the available space on the griddle and add the sauerkraut. Keep your eyes on everything, and don’t let anything burn.

Step 2

Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the grill, then mix the sauerkraut and corned beef. Once they’re heated through, start assembling the sandwich. Transfer the sauerkraut and corned beef on top of the cheese on the bread, spreading them out evenly. After this, spread a thousand island dressing or spicy mustard on the other bread and put it on top of the other one. Serve it while it’s hot.
