This is truly the best chicken taco I have ever tried! Whip It Up With Jay deserves a 5-star for this amazing snack. Unlike other recipes, the tortilla is dipped in a broth mixture before frying – it’s incredibly delicious. The chicken, on the other hand, is well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. You will never go wrong with this recipe.

In a small bowl, combine chopped tomatoes, onion, and cilantro. Next, squeeze half of a lime and mix everything.
In a different bowl, combine 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper, 1 tablespoon of chili powder, and 1/2 tablespoon of paprika.
Slice the chicken breasts in half lengthwise. Generously sprinkle the seasonings on the chicken. Rub it in and make sure that everything is coated.
Drizzle some oil in a pan. Once the oil is hot, add the seasoned chicken and sear at medium-high heat for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Do not constantly flip the chicken. Let it sit and just turn it once. Remove from pan and place on a baking sheet. Bake at 400F for 10 minutes.
In a different bowl, add 1/2 cup of chicken broth and hot sauce. Adjust the amount of hot sauce based on your preference. Mix them well.
Place your pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, dip the tortilla in the broth mixture and toss it into your pan. Cook each side until it’s a bit browned. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
Remove the chicken from the oven and slice it into small pieces.
Assemble your taco. Get the cooked tortilla, then add the chicken and veggies. Serve and enjoy!
