The beer can burger is the ultimate burger recipe. This recipe by The Pit Boys, who have an amazing Youtube channel, is so fabulous. The method of making these burgers could not be easier, you just make a big meatball and mold it around a cold can of beer, then wrap bacon around the molded ground beef and carefully loosen the beer can so you can pull it out, and then you will have a delicious meat cup. The beer can meat cups are filled with anything you want like chili, cheese, grilled onions, grilled tomatoes, grilled bell peppers, or just about anything else you can think of. There is no better way to bring in the Summer than having an outdoor cookout and enjoying some fresh air, sunshine, popping the top on a cold one, kicking up those feet, and relaxing with your family.

Ingredients:

  • Ground beef (80% to 20% lean ratio works best for this recipe and you want to make sure the meat is super chilled)
  • Bacon (thick bacon is best)
  • Ice cold beer (in a can)
  • Stuffing for the meat cup (any combination of bell pepper, onion, tomatoes, sausage, roast beef, corned beef hash, mashed potatoes, or mushrooms)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Balck cracked pepper (to taste)

Directions:

First, you mold your ground beef around an ice-cold beer can and wrap with bacon.

Then you will stuff these cool meat and bacon cups with any other grilled item of your choice, the sky is the limit here, whatever you like will work. Then pop these lovely morsels on the pit and cook till done.

Fill a bacon burger cup with onions, bell pepper and tomatoes

Wow, this recipe is fantastic.
