Healthy snacks and meals are today’s long overdue trend. You would be surprised by how appealing and delicious they can be. These cookies might be the easiest cookies you can make for your family to love. Serve them any time of the day – they are the perfect healthy snack, breakfast, or treat. They might not look “pretty” enough, but they are indeed simple and delicious. With initially only using two ingredients, oats and bananas! Match the 3rd ingredient with the add-on you prefer. MOMables – Laura Fuentes on YouTube shares with us these magical cookies that are perfectly portioned and easy to make. Plus, they are naturally gluten-free and the best vessel to use up your overly ripe bananas.
Note: Just make sure to use old-fashioned rolled oats, not instant. Otherwise, the cookies won’t hold together.
Ingredients:
Directions:
Prepare all the needed ingredients and measure them as stated in the list above.
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
In the food processor bowl, add and blend the bananas and oats. Blend the bananas until it turns into a smooth batter, but you can still see the oats.
Add the add-ons you desire. You can also add in dried fruits, nuts, or seeds. For this recipe, add the chocolate chips and mix with a spoon until well combined.
Next, scoop out the batter with a cookie scooper and place it on the prepared lined baking sheet.
Place the cookie batter tray in the preheated oven to bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the tops are golden brown.
When done, transfer the chicken to a platter, serve, and enjoy every bite! If you have leftovers you can also share some with friends.
