This oven-baked beef and bean meatball recipe by TosTinMan EasyCooking on YouTube has Tex-Mex ingredients that are unique to add with ground beef. It can be a healthy meal because it’s simple and doesn’t have crazy carbs besides the refried beans. However, I think these beef and bean meatballs would be filling and can be served as an appetizer or meal. Also, you can serve them in a sub bun or salad. I think the salsa topped on top would add moisture and flavor to the meatballs. Plus, I would make these because they look delicious and easy to make. The best part of this recipe is making it in a toaster oven and doesn’t require much cooking. So, if you like refried beans, meatballs, and tex-mex flavors, then this recipe is worth a try.
First, add the ground beef into a large bowl season with salt, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Add the canned refried beans and mix them together until blended. Form them into meatballs lined them into a cast-iron skillet or tray.

Next, bake for 450 degrees F for about 35 minutes or until cooked. Transfer the meatballs onto a plate and pour salsa on top. Sprinkle the cheese on top.
Note: you can add the cheese during the last minutes of cooking time to ensure it melts onto the meatball. Honestly, they look delicious and I love ground beef recipes. I’ve never had meatballs that are mixed with refried beans, but I think it would nice and filling. Overall, you can add other seasonings to this recipe, but it looks packed with different types of flavors.
