Ingredients:

  • 6 medium gold potatoes
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 & 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 & 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 & 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • salt and black pepper, to taste
  • grated cheddar cheese
  • 6 – 12 slices of bacon (or more)

Directions:

Step 1

Slice your potatoes very thinly using a vegetable slicer and transfer them to a bowl. Add 1/2 cup melted butter, 1 & 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning, 1 & 1/2 tsp garlic powder, and 1 & 1/2 tsp onion powder. Season everything with salt and pepper to taste, then mix well. To assemble the potato roses, lay your bacon on the board, and lay some potatoes over. Make sure that the potatoes overlap with each other. After this, sprinkle some grated cheese over the potatoes.

Step 2

Now, carefully roll the potatoes to form the rose. Place this in a greased muffin tin. Repeat the same process for all of your potatoes. Cover them up with aluminum foil, place them in a 400 degrees F oven, and bake for one hour. After an hour, remove the foil, and let them bake for another ten minutes.
